A classic from the era of South Pacific and Guys and Dolls, Kismet is taking The Little Opera Company back to a time when Broadway ruled the stage. The 1954 Tony award-winning musical slips into exotic Arabia to follow the twists and turns of fate that turned a beggar into a wealthy man. Based on the soaring melodies of Alexander Borodin, Kismet’s hypnotically beautiful and challenging score is rarely produced on stage. For the first time, The Little Opera company is bringing together dancers, actors, players from musical theatre and classically trained opera singers. The result is a performance of massive sound, brilliant pageantry, big laughs and moments of pure magic. To learn more about the artists and creative team, visit the Kismet Cast and Production page.
